WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Several fire crews battled a house fire southwest of Augusta. The fire started around 6 a.m. on Friday.
KSN News crews arrived at the home on 10833 SW Ashley Road, which is located SW Santa Fe Lake Road and SW 110th Street, around 8 a.m. A photo from the scene showed heavy damage to the home’s top floor.
KSN News has learned that medical crews checked a firefighter after part of the ceiling fell while battling the blaze. The firefighter wasn’t seriously injured. Medical crews also checked an occupant of the home.

Crews from Augusta, Andover and Butler County responded to battle the blaze. The cause of the fire hasn’t been determined.
