KHP reports fewer DUI arrests, citations for New Year’s reporting period

TOPEKA, Kan. ( KSNT ) – The Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP) has released its New Year’s Holiday Activity Report. In 2024, enforcement numbers were down across the board.

The KHP worked on one deadly non-DUI-related crash that resulted in one death. In total, the KHP’s enforcement data indicated fewer enforcement actions across the board for the 2025 New Year’s holiday period.
