WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The Kansas Immigration Coalition held a forum Tuesday. The goal is to ease fears about what a new presidential administration could mean for immigrants.
The coalition is an amalgam of dozens of groups, all with the main goal of advocating for immigrants’ rights. They argue that knowing those rights amidst concerns over potential mass deportation can go a long way in keeping safe from unlawful search and seizure.
