WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Some of the warmest weather all month long will come Monday and Tuesday across the area as sunshine combines with west to southwest winds and pushes highs back into the 50s. However, a storm system coming in later this week will bring the chances for rain back along with some cooler weather. There’s no sign of Arctic air arriving anytime soon.
Monday and Tuesday will be sunny with highs a mix of 40s and 50s Monday, but mainly 50s coming up Tuesday. The winds will remain light throughout both days.
Wednesday is just slightly cooler as highs remain near 50. A slow moving storm system will spread rain showers across the area Thursday and Friday. It’s too early to say how much rain, but latest models are backing away from the chances for snow. This should be a mostly rain event for Kansas with highs cooling to the 40s while the storm passes overhead…
