WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – The family of a Wichita man killed last summer in a hit-and-run continue to seek justice for their loved one. Tad Doyle died from his injuries after a vehicle hit his electric bike and fled the scene. The crash happened early on the morning of Aug. 18 near Doyle’s northwest Wichita home. A few days later, police arrested 23-year-old Christopher Johnson for felony hit-and-run.
Doyle’s sister, Dawn Doyle Phillips, said she hopes that a new hit-and-run law will bring her family justice for her brother.
