WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – High wind gusts tipped over two semis traveling on Kansas highways on Wednesday.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said one happened in Kingman County around 2 p.m. The semi was heading west on U.S. Highway 54 when a gust of wind tipped it onto the driver’s side in the median. The driver, a 44-year-old man from Wichita, received minor injuries and was taken to Wesley Medical Center.
Around 2:30 p.m., a semi was westbound on Interstate 70 in Saline County when a gust of wind caused it to overturn. The 66-year-old Salina driver received minor injuries and was taken to Salina Regional Health Center…
