WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A Kansas Highway Patrol trooper made a remarkable discovery during a routine traffic stop, rescuing a 6-year-old girl who had been kidnapped for over a month.
According to a social post from the KHP, the incident unfolded when the trooper assigned to the agency’s criminal interdiction unit pulled over an SUV for a traffic violation.
