WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – At this point last year, 435 potholes were reported across Wichita. That’s a stark contrast to this year, where 539 potholes have been spotted across the city.
One reason for the growing pothole problem is that the hazards are more apparent due to the freezing cold temperatures followed by the warmer weather that started earlier this year.
“Our crews do a really good job, they’re really diligent about trying to fix everything that they see,” said Megan Lovely, Communications Manager for the City of Wichita, “But they can’t see everything in the city.”…
