Driver caught going 122 mph on Kellogg

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A driver has been caught going 122 mph on Kellogg in Wichita. It happened in the westbound lanes near Meridian shortly before 11 p.m. Wednesday.

The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy clocked the driver of a white Dodge Challenger traveling 122 mph, 62 miles over the posted speed limit.

In Kansas, the fine for speeding 30 miles or more over the speed limit starts at $195, plus $15 per mile over the original 30 mph over the limit. The driver faces a $675 fine plus any court costs associated with the ticket.
