Sneaker heads trade shoes and connect at Wichita event

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Hundreds of sneaker heads flocked to the Garvey Center at Friends University on Saturday to browse the selection and maybe even add to their collection.

One sponsor says he connects with the community while doing what he loves.

“I love shoes, that’s why I do what I do, and it’s great seeing all these sneaker heads coming by, selling these shoes, trading them, and Wichita people in general. I like that it’s my hometown that I’m doing this in,” said Tanner Vestering, owner of 316 Seanks LLC.

Attendees were asked to bring three pairs of socks to win a highly coveted pair of sneakers…
