BAXTER SPRINGS, Kan. (KOAM) — It was early Sunday morning, March 30, 2025 as storms began to amp up about 2 a.m. The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Cherokee County. That warning was set to expire by 2:45 a.m.
