WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A Storm Team 12 Weather Alert Day continues for the possibility of severe storms into the evening and overnight. South central Kansas will have the highest chances of severe storms throughout the evening, with north central and northeast Kansas continuing with a severe threat well beyond the midnight time frame.
Any storms around Wichita will be very hit and miss, with more areas being missed by the active weather. Central and northern Kansas storms will be much more widespread. The overall concern will end by 5 a.m. as the cold front pushes the storms out of the area.
