Motorcyclist clocked at 102mph in a 55mph zone on Kansas street

SEDGWICK COUNTY—Law enforcement across Kansas continue to encounter drivers traveling far above the posted speed limit.

Last week, a sheriff’s deputy stopped a motorcycle traveling 102mhp in a 55mhp zone near 47th St. South and Rock Road, just north of Derby, according to a social media report from the Sedgwick County Sheriff.

“This happened at 4:00 in the afternoon—a time when traffic is heavy, people are heading home from work, and yes, school buses are on the road.”…
