WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — If you notice the level of the Arkansas River dropping on Thursday or Friday, it is not your imagination.
The City of Wichita says faulty gate sensors at the dam near the Lincoln Street bridge need to be replaced.
The process will begin on Thursday. It involves cycling each of the dam’s gates up and down several times to calibrate each sensor.
