Wichita, KS – Law enforcement agencies across Kansas are actively searching for 18-year-old Jaden Watts, who is wanted for questioning in connection with a homicide that occurred in Wichita last month. The Wichita Police Department has issued a felony pick-up order for Watts.
The incident unfolded just before 4:00 a.m. on Friday, March 22nd, when police responded to an EMS call at a home in the 14000 block of East Twinlake Drive in Wichita, according to Officer Juan Reboledo. Upon arrival, first responders discovered a victim, later identified as 24-year-old Demarc Burgess, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Burgess was rushed to a local hospital but was subsequently pronounced dead.
