Suspect in violent Kansas Amber Alert is due back in court

SEDGWICK COUNTY —A man jailed following an Amber Alert in September is due in court for a preliminary hearing in Judge William Wooley’s court room, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s office.

Trevawn Strong, 30 of Wichita, has been charged with abuse of a child, two counts of aggravated battery, two counts of aggravated assault, three counts of aggravated endangering a child, three counts of criminal threat, and misdemeanor counts of domestic battery, criminal restraint, and criminal damage to property, according to the District Attorney’s office.
