Man critically injured in shooting shows up at Wichita hospital

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A 21-year-old man is in the hospital after someone shot him several times in the upper torso Thursday night. The Wichita Police Department is trying to figure out where it happened and who did it.

A police spokesperson said the victim was in a private vehicle when he arrived at a Wichita hospital around 9:15 p.m. He was in critical condition.

When KSN News asked where the shooting happened and who took the man to the hospital, police said it is part of the investigation.
