112 mph in a 60 mph zone to get to church on time

SEDGWICK COUNTY —Law enforcement across Kansas continue to see drivers traveling well above the posted speed limit.

On Sunday morning, a driver in a big hurry to make it to church was caught doing 112mph in a 60mph zone on Kellogg near Greenwich, according to a social media report from the Sedgwick County Sheriff.

On Saturday night, the Kansas Highway Patrol stopped a driver in Southwestern Kansas for traveling 109mph in a posted 65mhp zone. The individual was found to have a Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC) of a .169 on the Intoxilyzer 9000. That is more than twice the legal limit…
