More wet weather Wednesday

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – The rain maker hanging out near Kansas will keep the chance for showers and a few thunderstorms around through Wednesday night. Although there have been some subtle changes in the track, heavier amounts still look like they will end up over southern Kansas.

Areas north of I-70 will see under .50″, which central and much of western Kansas could easily wind up with .50-1″. Locations south of a line from Dodge City to Wichita could receive 1″ or more. It will remain cool for early May, with highs in the 60s, but once the rain departs, it will warm back up to the 70s late in the week.

Dry and sunny weather should set in for the end of the week with highs in the mid to upper 70s…
