WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Derby firefighters are warning of a dangerous social media trend that hit home this week.
Fire crews responded to an incident in which someone intentionally set a laptop on fire at Derby High School. The trend, called “The Chromebook Challenge,” teaches kids how to do it using the lithium batteries inside the devices.
