CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. — A Kansas woman was killed in a crash on Highway 54, amid flash flooding conditions in the Lake of the Ozarks area.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 60-year-old woman, from Bel Aire, Kan., was driving a 2015 Subaru Forester eastbound on Highway 54, west of Camdenton. At around 9:50 a.m., the Subaru began to skid, the Patrol says, and it crossed the center of the road, heading toward an oncoming Chevy Tahoe driven by a 67-year-old man from West Point, Neb.
The Tahoe driver reportedly tried to avoid the Subaru, by driving onto the shoulder of the road, but the Subaru still collided with it, the Patrol said…
