Authorities investigate crash that left one dead, two injured in El Dorado

EL DORADO, Kan. (KSNW) – One person is dead, and two others are hospitalized after a crash in El Dorado on Saturday.

On Saturday, the El Dorado Police Department and the Butler County Sheriff’s Department were called to the intersection of Taylor Street and Locust Avenue for the report of an injury crash.

One dead after SUV collides with semi in Marion County

When they arrived, they found a vehicle had struck an electrical pole. Three people were inside:

  • A 61-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
  • A 53-year-old woman was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.
  • A 40-year-old man was hospitalized in stable condition.
