WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – On Tuesday, Wichita’s City Council will consider whether the 96-year-old Crown Uptown Theatre should be placed on the city’s historical registry.
It’s the latest in an ongoing saga for the building. The owner of the theatre previously threatened to demolish it, saying the city declined to allow him to increase its capacity.
