Storms for some in Kansas on Tuesday

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – It is another mild morning with wake-up temperatures in the 60s and lower 70s, however the day ahead will be a little hotter than Monday. Afternoon highs in the lower to middle 90s will feel a few degrees higher when you factor in the humidity.

A few storms will move into northwest Kansas after 5 p.m. and then march east tonight. Most of the activity will stay along and north of I-70, and while a storm or two may be strong, widespread severe weather is not expected.

Our next cold front will sweep across the state late Wednesday into Thursday. Showers and storms are likely with its passage, and cooler conditions will follow Thursday as temperatures tumble from the 90s on Wednesday into the 80s on Thursday…
