WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – He served his country for over 20 years, enduring four overseas deployments, but his fondest memories come from his time training future soldiers as a drill sergeant.
In 1998, Wisconsin native Jason Hartley was ready to serve his country.
“My dad took me to this little plaza outside a grocery store, and it had the Navy, Army, Marines, and Air Force there, and the Army happened to be open that day, so I became a soldier,” he said.
