(KOAM) – The Kansas Manufacturing Council (KMC), an affiliate of the Kansas Chamber, is once again searching for the Coolest Thing Made in Kansas. Now in its sixth year, the annual contest shines a spotlight on Kansas-made products that are making an impact across the country—and around the world.
Presented by Forvis Mazars, the 2025 competition aims to celebrate the innovation, creativity, and craftsmanship of Kansas manufacturers.
“The Coolest Thing Made in Kansas contest shines a light on the innovation, talent, and hard work that define Kansas manufacturing,” said Brandie McPherson, Executive Director of KMC. “Our manufacturers drive economic growth and support the communities we call home.”
How It Works:

Nomination Deadline: Friday, August 8 at 12:00 p.m. CT

Eligibility: Any product made in Kansas qualifies

Top 10 Finalists: Selected by a panel of industry experts and community leaders

People’s Choice Voting: Begins in mid-September when finalists are revealed
Each of the Top 10 finalists will be invited to showcase their product at the Coolest Celebration Reception on Monday, October 27 in Wichita. Winners—including the Overall Coolest Thing Made in Kansas and the People’s Choice Award—will be announced the following day at the Kansas Manufacturing Summit on Tuesday, October 28 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel…
