WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Wichita Police recovered human remains they believe belong to missing person Mariana Christian.
In a briefing, police say an ongoing investigation led them to an area near Cottonwood Park, located along a drainage canal near Bayley and Armour in East Wichita. Investigators have recovered a body, believed to be a woman who was recently reported missing.
Tuesday marked ten days since Mariana Christian was last seen on Saturday, July 19.
“As the investigation has progressed today at approximately 5:11 p.m., evidence leads us to believe that we have located the body of Ms. Mariana Christian,” Public Information Officer Kris Gupilan said. “At this time, we cannot officially confirm the identity of the individual located.”…
