WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A stuck accelerator on a pickup truck is blamed for a crash that left a woman with critical injuries.
It happened around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at a business, Kinkaid, just east of Mead. The Wichita Fire Department says a woman was standing at a desk when the accelerator of a pickup truck malfunctioned, causing the truck to crash into a car, which then hit the woman.

The woman was run over and dragged underneath the car. Both vehicles crashed through a wall and came to rest outside.
EMS took her to the hospital with potentially critical injuries. The crash did not cause any damage to the building’s support structure, and no other injuries were reported…
