Wichita woman dragged deputy during flight from traffic stop. She’s sentenced

A Wichita woman will serve more than three years in prison for dragging a Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office deputy with a car during a traffic stop this spring.

Nevaeh Ann Thompson, 22, was sentenced Tuesday to 45 months.

“The Court followed the recommendations of the State,” Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office spokeswoman Lyndsee Stover said.
