WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Meteorologist Dean Jones says showers over central and eastern this morning have dissipated as they moved east.
Cloudy to mostly cloudy skies will hang around most of the day and by afternoon, isolated to scattered showers and storms are possible across south central and western Kansas. Some of the stronger storms later this evening across western Kansas, could produce gusty winds and hail the size of quarters, however widespread severe weather will remain unlikely.
The cloud cover and scattered showers will keep temperatures well below average during the afternoon with most of the state seeing highs in the 70s and low 80s…
