SEDGWICK COUNTY, Kan. (KSNW) — Three people were injured in a crash Sunday afternoon at the intersection of K-96 and 151st Street West, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
It happened around 1:30 p.m. when troopers say a car heading south on 151st ran a stop sign and hit a westbound pickup on K-96. The impact pushed the truck into a motorcycle.
Three critically injured in Wichita crash, alcohol suspected
The car’s driver, an 89-year-old Wichita man, and the motorcycle rider, a 50-year-old woman from Lakin, were both taken to the hospital with suspected serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The truck driver had minor injuries. A passenger in the truck was not hurt.
