WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – One month after downtown Wichita installed its first paid parking kiosks, the system is expanding to more city-owned lots, and residents are still getting used to the change.
The kiosks, which require more drivers to enter their license plate number and pay at machines rather than meters, are now being added to new areas this week, according to a map released by the city. Officials say this rollout is just phase one, with future expansions coming to parking garages and on-street spaces.
