WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) — The suspect accused of being the driver in a hit-and-run crash Wednesday that killed a 14-year-old boy at Harry and Rock Road in Wichita is now in police custody.
The Wichita Police Department announced Friday evening it took Gauge Brasher, 19, into custody shortly after 4 p.m. in the 3100 block of E. Range Rd.
Police said Brasher was admitted to the hospital after the accident for medical treatment and later left the hospital, which led to a search to find him. A 24-year-old passenger was detained and later released with no charges…
