Truck driver charged in Wichita parking lot death

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — An Oklahoma truck driver has been formally charged in connection with the death of a Georgia man in the parking lot of a Wichita truck stop.

Travis Briscoe, 46, is charged with the death of 57-year-old Abdelmuttalib Mohammed.

Wichita police say the two men got into some altercation in the parking lot of the Love’s Truck Stop at 21st and Interstate 135 in north Wichita on the evening of Wednesday, Aug. 13.
