WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – A man is in the hospital after being shot in south Wichita.
Around 4:40 p.m., the Wichita Police Department was dispatched to the 4100 block of S. Laura St. after reports of gunfire in the area.
When officers arrived, they found a man in his early 20s with a gunshot wound to his upper body. He was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators are still looking for the suspect vehicle but say they do not believe there is a threat to the public, as the shooting appears to have been an isolated incident between two people…
