WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – This spring, Wichita approved an ordinance to allow golf carts on city streets. Now that it’s in effect, some neighborhoods are trying to remind people there are rules.
Among the rules of the ordinance, golf carts can only be driven on public roads with a speed limit of 30 mph or lower. Additionally, golf carts can only cross streets at controlled intersections.
