WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — After a 5-month closure, a Wichita Public Library branch has reopened.
The Lionel D. Alford Branch held a reopening celebration on Saturday. The interior of the library was closed to the public back in March while crews made improvements to the facility.
Improvements were made to the lighting and flooring, along with a restructuring of interior spaces. The library added a new space dedicated to teens, along with rearranging the public computer space to improve access and flow.
