WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – We’ll have one more day of normal August heat before much cooler temperatures arrive this weekend with storm chances.
We are kicking off Friday morning mild and quiet, but temperatures will climb to the low 90s under mostly sunny skies. Humidity will uptick slightly, making it feel more like the middle 90s.
A strong cold front will begin to push into the state overnight, bringing scattered storms to northern Kansas. A few of those storms will move into south central Kansas Saturday morning, but the rest of the day will be dry. Expect highs mainly in the low to mid 80s…
