WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A new state law requires Kansas schools to show a video of fetal growth, but it leaves it up to individual districts to decide how to address this subject.
Senate Bill 275 states that any school district offering a course or instruction that teaches human growth, human development, or human sexuality must include a presentation of a high-quality, computer-generated animation or high-definition ultrasound of at least three minutes long, illustrating fetal development.
