WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – The Air Capital wants soldiers who serve in Kansas to consider making their stay permanent after their service ends, specifically in Wichita. That’s why Tuesday was all about letting visiting Fort Riley soldiers know that they’re a hot commodity.
Many have specialized training in aviation, robotics, and mechanics, making them ideal fits for the Air Capital’s high-tech employers. The soldiers toured WSU Tech, where faculty members explained the licenses they can obtain to further advance their careers.
