Wichita, KS Weather: Sunny Tuesday Before Thunderstorms Arrive Wednesday Afternoon

According to the National Weather Service in Wichita, thunderstorms are expected to redevelop Wednesday afternoon and evening as a cold front moves across the state. Storms could bring heavy rain, lightning, and gusty winds, especially along the I-35 corridor from Emporia through Wichita to Winfield. Highs will climb into the upper 80s before temperatures drop behind the front.
