WPD arrests 23-year-old in N. Broadway shooting, one of 3 Labor Day killings

Wichita police have arrested a 23-year-old man in connection to a fatal shooting outside a North Broadway liquor store on Monday, one of three killings on Labor Day.

Police did not identify the 23-year-old, explain his connection to the shooting, or say what charges he would potentially face in what Wichita Police Chief Joe Sullivan described as an “extremely complicated crime scene” near Discount Liquor at 29th North and Broadway.
