Police search for shooter after dog wounded in NE Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Wichita police are searching for a man who shot a dog on Thursday. The incident happened around 4:30 p.m. near 10th and Spruce.

Officers were initially dispatched to the scene for the report of an active shooter. After receiving additional information, the call was quickly changed to a ‘shots fired’ call with a suspicious character.
