Suspect in N. Broadway shooting identified

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Sedgwick County Jail booking records identify a man accused in one of three Labor Day shootings as 23-year-old Jaime Medina.

Medina was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder in the deadly shooting of 19-year-old Mario (Gustavo) Gonzalez.

Police were called to a liquor store near 29th and Broadway, around noon on Labor Day. They arrived to find three people with gunshot wounds in the parking lot. Gonzalez died from his injuries. The other two were taken to the hospital for treatment…
