Police say a 50-year-old man has died after being shot in north Wichita Sunday afternoon, in the 700 block of North Piatt. Wichita Police have now announced the arrest of two suspects. WPD continues to search for a third suspect.
On Sunday, Sept.7, at 3:53 pm., officers responded to reports of a shooting and found 62-year-old Terry Collins in the front yard of his home with a gunshot wound to the chest. Neighbors immediately began life-saving efforts until officers arrived. Sedgwick County EMS transported Mr. Collins to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Investigators learned that Collins was involved in a confrontation with two male suspects and a female suspect before a gunshot was fired. Witnesses reported seeing the suspects flee the area…
