Man arrested, accused of pointing gun at school buses in Wichita

A 43-year-old man was arrested Thursday after Wichita police received a report of someone pointing a gun at passing cars and school buses.

Officers responded around 4:45 p.m. Thursday to the 1600 block of East Lincoln after receiving a call that a man in a white Cadillac was pointing a gun at school buses near Lincoln and Hydraulic and Lincoln and Mead.

Officers found the man had exited his vehicle while stopped at a train crossing and pointed a weapon at passing vehicles and school buses, according to police spokesperson Brad Wright. It’s not known if children were in the school buses at the time…
