Candy Taylor Named Executive Director of the Mid-America All-Indian Museum

The City of Wichita today announced Candy Taylor has been hired to serve as the Executive Director of the Mid-America All-Indian Museum. Taylor brings 17 years of experience in the museum industry, most recently having served as the Director of the Comanche Nation Museum and Cultural Center in Lawton, Oklahoma.

The Executive Director of the Museum is responsible for managing the facility’s operations, staff, and programming as well as advancing the Museum’s mission of educating the public about and preserving American Indian culture and art. The Museum is home to a 3,000-piece collection of contemporary art and artifacts, an outdoor learning center, artist gardens, and is connected to Wichita’s iconic Keeper of the Plains Plaza.
