Wichita firefighter calls for equal maternity leave as police after contract disparities

A Wichita firefighter is voicing concerns about a lack of consistency regarding maternity and paternity leave.

She says the department deserves the same benefit Wichita police were granted back in December during contract negotiations, which is eight weeks of paid maternity and paternity leave.
