WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Summer-like heat will continue for the start of the weekend; however, storm chances return this evening and Sunday across Kansas. It’s a mild morning with lows in the upper 60s. Expect temperatures to climb to the low to mid 80s in western Kansas and the lower 90s to the east under partly cloudy skies.
Scattered showers and storms will form along the KS/CO border this evening and slowly track east overnight, likely arriving in portions of central Kansas by Sunday morning. The threat of severe weather is very low.
