WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A free pop-up clinic opened downtown Saturday to provide health care and resources to people in need.
The clinic at City Life Church offered medical exams, wound care, and free prescriptions, along with food, hygiene items, and housing referrals. Volunteers also provided showers through the nonprofit Shower Up.

“Our biggest goal is to increase access to care and bring a holistic approach,” said Sebastian Salcedo, lead psych coordinator for Vituity Cares. “We want people to feel cared for and supported.”
That holistic approach included more than just medicine. Guests also received fresh produce from the Kansas Food Bank, hygiene products, and access to housing referrals through United Way.
